Please submit your final stereo mix as a high-resolution WAV or AIFF file (minimum 24-bit/44.1kHz, preferably 24-bit/48kHz or higher). Files must have no limiting or mastering plugins on the master bus, with 3-6dB of headroom. We cannot accept MP3 or other lossy compressed formats for mastering.
Standard turnaround is 2-3 business days from receipt of payment and files. Single tracks are often completed within 24-48 hours. Rush service (24-hour turnaround) is available for an additional fee of £15 per track. Weekends and UK bank holidays are not counted as business days.
We include unlimited revisions until you're completely satisfied with the master. Revision requests must be specific (e.g., "more bass," "less bright," "louder") and submitted within 30 days of receiving the initial master. Revisions to correct technical issues are provided at no charge. Changes requiring re-mixing are not covered.
You will receive high-resolution WAV files (24-bit/48kHz) and MP3 files (320kbps) suitable for all streaming platforms and digital distribution. Files are delivered via WeTransfer or similar file transfer service. Backup copies are retained for 90 days after delivery.
You retain full copyright and ownership of your music. Big Drum Records claims no rights to your compositions or recordings. We reserve the right to use your project as a portfolio example unless you specifically request otherwise. Your music and personal information are kept confidential.
If you're not satisfied with the mastered result after revisions, we offer a full refund within 14 days of initial delivery. Refunds are not available once you've approved the final master or after 30 days from initial delivery, whichever comes first.
While we take every care to deliver professional results, Big Drum Records is not liable for any consequential losses, including but not limited to lost revenue, missed release dates, or distribution issues. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the mastering service. We are not responsible for issues arising from poor quality source mixes.
You may cancel your order and receive a full refund if cancellation occurs before we begin work on your project. Once work has commenced, a 50% cancellation fee applies. No refunds are available once the initial master has been delivered.
